After helping pioneer the Boleroglam movement as the voice and drummer of Daniel, Me Estás Matando, Luciano Daniel is embarking on a new artistic journey that places his own stories, influences, and emotions at the center. Launched in May 2026, his solo project finds the musician revisiting the foundations of his artistry through the timeless language of bolero and the rich tradition of the Mexican romantic song. While fans know him for blending vintage romance with modern aesthetics, this new chapter strips away the armor and reveals a more intimate side of the artist.

The first glimpse into that world arrived with “Te Lo Advertí,” now available on all digital platforms. Inspired by the interpretive elegance of José José and other great romantic crooners, the song explores the lingering ache of heartbreak through lyrics such as “Me extrañarás, jamás sabrás de mí” and “Le contará versiones a la luna, no te creerá ninguna.” The result is a deeply emotional ballad that transforms loss into poetry, offering comfort to listeners navigating the aftermath of a broken relationship.
Beyond the music, Luciano has developed a visual concept that blends romance, melancholy, and Japanese animation. A lifelong fan of Saint Seiya (Knights of the Zodiac), he drew inspiration from the iconic anime to create Sora, a mysterious female character who appears throughout the project’s artwork and music videos. Wearing armor reminiscent of the legendary anime warriors, Sora represents both memory and longing within Luciano’s unfolding narrative. Introducing the character on social media, the artist wrote, “She is the channel of my sighs, the foam upon this sea of tears, and the boarding pass to infinite melancholy: Sora.” White and red carnations, symbols of love, devotion, and remembrance, also appear throughout the visual storytelling.

The story continues on June 18 with the release of “Quédate,” the second single from the project. Like its predecessor, the song advances the emotional journey shared by Luciano and Sora, exploring themes of love, absence, and farewell. Reflecting on the response from fans, Luciano recently shared,:
“You cannot imagine how grateful I am to have you as part of my life on this new path of faded love and tears that adorn the soul like pearls of release.”
Through music, imagery, and a carefully crafted romantic mythology, Luciano Daniel is creating a universe where classic bolero meets anime-inspired storytelling.
