Kawempe Muslim’s quest to win this season’s FUFA Women Super League faced a huge blow after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Makerere University on Sunday.
In the game played at Nsibirwa Grounds, the Warriors left bruised and thus getting a huge setback in the title race with three games to go.
Noeline Namiiro, a former She Corporate striker scored the lone goal for Makerere to guide them to victory. This was only Kawempe’s second loss of the season.

After matchday 19, She Corporate remain top of the pile on 47 points, two ahead of Kawempe Muslim.
Kawempe Muslim will return to action next weekend with a home fixture against Rines, visit Kampala Queens in the subsequent matchday before ending the campaign at home to relegated Olila High School.
