By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Police in Orange Walk are investigating a report of aggravated assault involving what appeared to be a shotgun.
A 35 year old mason and welder of Santa Familia Street, Orange Walk Town, told police that around 7:00pm on Sunday, October 4, he was at his cousin’s house on Audinett Alley.
He said a man arrived and got into an argument with his cousin over money before leaving. About ten minutes later, the man returned in a green vehicle, with a grey taxi in front.
The complainant said a man in the taxi called for his cousin. When he went over instead, the man allegedly pointed what looked like a shotgun at him and told him, in Kriol, to talk to his cousin so he would know what the deal is.
The taxi then drove off. No one was hurt.
