Police were crowned champions of the ACB Caribbean Parish League Sir Curtly Ambrose Limited Overs cricket competition following a 37 runs triumph over the Liberta Blackhawks in the Final which was contested last weekend.
Batting first, Police posted 163 for eight with Kenrick Scott hitting 44 and Deran Benta contributing with 40. Elvis Weaver was the pick of the bowlers for Blackhawks with three for 28 while T’ron Payne bagged two for 19.

When their turn at the crease arrived, Blackhawks were bowled out for 126. Their best effort with the bat came from Ajarni Frederick who made 43. Vincent Shadrach Sr claimed three wickets for 11 runs bowling for the lawmen. There were two wickets each for Benta (2/20) and Trevorson Atley (2/22) bowling for Blackhawks.
