Police seek man after iPhone stolen from Central Drug Store

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man captured on surveillance footage in connection with a theft recently reported at Central Drug Store in downtown Belize City.

According to the report, an iPhone valued at $2,500 was stolen from the business. Investigators have released a still image from the store’s camera system showing the man they wish to identify and question. He is seen wearing a light colored baseball cap, dark sunglasses and a blue short sleeved shirt, and carrying a large gray and black backpack.

The man has not been charged with any offence, and police are seeking him for questioning as part of the ongoing investigation.

Anyone who recognizes the individual or has information that could assist is asked to contact the nearest police station. Tips can also be sent confidentially to Breaking Belize News and will be passed directly to the investigating officer. The identity of anyone providing information will be protected.

Businesses in the area are encouraged to review their own camera systems for footage that may assist investigators.
