Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Philip J. Pierre will present the 2026/27 Budget Policy Statement in the House of Assembly on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
The formal proceedings for Saint Lucia’s 2026/27 Budget presentation will start at 10:00 a.m., with the Throne Speech by Felix Finisterre, Deputy to the Governor General.

The Government’s budget totals EC$2.18 billion, making it the largest in Saint Lucia’s history. The Office of the Prime Minister says this is another big step in the Pierre Administration’s efforts to expand opportunities, strengthen communities, and support national development.
“This budget is rooted in a simple but decisive principle: the people of Saint Lucia must feel the benefits of growth,” a statement from the OPM reads.
The statement adds that this budget is not just for show. It is meant to help people, support the vulnerable, encourage those ready to move forward, and make sure no one is left out of national development.
The Pierre Administration’s 2026/27 Budget will continue building on past progress, from community development to major projects. It aims to create new opportunities for growth, investment, and jobs across key sectors.
The Prime Minister’s Budget Address will be broadcast live from 5:00 p.m. on the National Television Network (NTN), Saint Lucia FM (97.3 FM), and other participating radio and TV stations.
The debate on the Appropriations Bill will take place on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, starting at 10:00 a.m.
