Royal Household dismisses King Misuzulu’s hospitalisation reports
He says the monarch continues to perform his daily responsibilities as usual.

The Zulu Royal Household has dismissed circulating social media reports alleging that AmaZulu King Misuzulu kaZwelithini has been hospitalised and admitted to the ICU.
Speaking on behalf of the Zulu Royal Household, Prince Thulani Zulu clarified that the King is in good health and has only been attending routine medical check-ups with his physician.
He says the monarch continues to perform his daily responsibilities as usual.
He further appealed to content creators and social media users to practice responsible reporting by verifying facts before sharing unconfirmed information.
“I note with concerns the false reports circulating on social media and on social platforms alleging that His Majesty has been rushed to the hospital and admitted to the ICU. We wish to state categorically that these reports are untrue and His Majesty has visited his physician for routine medical checkup.”
“The King is in good health and he continues with his personal and official duties as normal. We appeal to the Zulu nation and all well-wishers to remain calm and disregard these malicious falsehood,” explains Prince Zulu.
