Remember the star-studded cast of Rosewood, the stylish Fox crime drama that mixed murder mysteries, Miami sunshine and plenty of chemistry between its two leading detectives? If you need a refresher, the series followed Dr. Beaumont Rosewood Jr., a brilliant private pathologist who could uncover clues from a body that everyone else had missed. With his high-tech lab, larger-than-life personality and relentless optimism, Rosewood became an unlikely crime-solving partner to tough Miami detective Annalise Villa.

The show ran for two seasons from 2015 to 2017, but its cast certainly didn’t disappear when the cameras stopped rolling. In fact, many of the stars went on to some pretty big projects. So, what are the familiar faces of Rosewood doing now? Here’s what we know.

Morris Chestnut was the heart of the series, playing the charismatic pathologist who could crack a case while keeping everyone entertained. Rosewood was confident, charming and determined to enjoy life to the fullest, even while dealing with a serious heart condition.

Since leaving the show, Chestnut has continued to build an impressive television résumé. He has taken on major dramatic roles, including appearances in Reasonable Doubt, while also stepping into the lead role of Dr. John Watson in the CBS series Watson, a modern take on the famous Sherlock Holmes universe.

And acting isn’t his only venture. Chestnut has also branched out into business, including co-founding the spirits company Sable Bourbon alongside fellow Hollywood star Taye Diggs.

Not bad for the guy who spent Rosewood solving murders between trips to the lab and flirting with his detective partner!
