Victony taps Don Toliver & Summer Walker for 'SLICK (Remix)'

Victony has released a remix of his hit single SLICK featuring American stars Don Toliver and Summer Walker. Produced by Ozedikus, the track, one of the year’s biggest Nigerian records, has a new international spin.

The original has had a strong run. Released earlier this year, it spent three consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Nigeria’s Official Top 100, Victony’s first solo chart-topper there. It also peaked at No. 2 on Billboard’s U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart, where it stayed for three weeks. It is on his 2026 sophomore album STARLIFE.

On the remix, Summer Walker brings her understated R&B delivery while Don Toliver adds his melodic, elastic style. It is a cross-continental link-up that'll definitely give the song a fresh audience.

Victony and Toliver have history. Toliver featured on the 2023 remix of Soweto with Rema, which reached No. 12 on the UK Official Independent Singles Chart and stayed there for 16 weeks. STARLIFE, released in August, features BNXN, Blaqbonez, YKB, Babyboy AV, Fola and Young Jonn.

The remix lands during a busy period for all three artists, with Toliver following his album OCTANE. Victony also performed SLICK on BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Live Lounge in September.
