Atlanta-born chicken chain Zaxbys is bringing its delicious Southern hospitality to New York City, and to celebrate, the company announced a series of events that kept taste buds tap-dancing all night long.

Last week, Zaxby’s x Chain held a Zax in the City culinary experience at Houston Hall, where invited guests enjoyed the chain’s delicious offerings and signature sauces, and washed it all down with specialty cocktails.

The immersive event, which successfully tickled all of the senses, served as a proper introduction to NYC’s tastemakers, and CassiusLife was in the building.

One of the standouts on the menu was Zaxbys’ Famous Fingerz, which you can dip in Food Chain’s 12 signature sauces. Other items from Zaxbys’ menu that were available to enjoy were chicken sandwiches, fried pickles, chicken quesadillas, loaded fries, and fried cheesecake bites.

Earlier in the summer Zaxbys opened its first NYC location in the Bronx at 3260 Boston Road, which is a 2,000-square-foot restaurant that features seating for 15 guests and offers both dine-in and drive-thru service.

A second location on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, at 1267 First Avenue, expanded the brand’s footprint in NYC when it opened on September 30. The 2,800+ square-foot restaurant features 16 dine-in seats and the brand’s modern farmhouse-inspired aesthetic.

As word of mouth spreads about Zaxbys’ presence in NYC and locals keep enjoying the brand’s delicious lunch and late-night food binge options, we expect more spots to open across the state.
