A total of 14 female golfers have been drawn for the opening round of the 2026 Kilembe Mines Ladies Open in the silver category.
Round one for these golfers will drive off on Thursday, 9th April at the par 73-Kilembe Mines Golf Club in Kasese.
The first match tees off at 9 AM with Lillian Koowe and Gloria Nanyonga swinging off.
Match two has Joweria Namanda, Janet Kabayonga and Meron Kyomugisha at 9:10 AM.
At 9:20 AM; it will be Resty Nalutaaya, Martha Babirye and Racheal Natukunda.
Peace Kabasweka, Robinah Angom and Nerimah Shaminah swing off at 9:30 AM.
The last group will drive off at 9:40 AM with the left handed Gloria Mbaguta, Joyce Kisembo and Frista Birabwa.
The official practice round was held on Wednesday, 8th April 2026 with the golfers have a feel of the course that overlooks the gigantic Rwenzori Mountain ranges.
“The course is good and only need to get used to the greens” Angom remarked after the official practice round on Wednesday.
The tournament is organized by Kilembe Mines Golf Club, Uganda Ladies Golf Union (ULGU) and supported by a number of partners as Neptune, pepsi, Uganda Tourism Board (UTB), Exim Bank and MTN Uganda.
