Belize Government Lotteries hiring a marketing assistant, applications close August 14

Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Creative professionals, a new opportunity has opened at Belize Government Lotteries Ltd. The company is recruiting a Marketing Assistant to support its Marketing Consultant in creating and executing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms, with applications due by Friday, August 14, 2026.

The role is hands-on and content-heavy: creating graphics and marketing materials in Adobe Photoshop, developing infographics, live feed posts and short reels, scheduling content across social platforms, building and monitoring Google Ad campaigns, editing photos and videos, maintaining the asset library, and supporting marketing projects and events. The post also includes promoting BGLL on live television through pre-approved media appearances or in-content videos, and flexibility to work holidays or weekends for expos and night markets.

Qualifications offer two routes: a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design or a related field with a minimum of two years of marketing experience, or an associate degree in marketing with at least five years of experience. Photoshop proficiency is required, along with working knowledge of Meta Business Suite and Meta Ads Manager and familiarity with Google Ads. Canva, Adobe Illustrator, photography skills and a valid driver’s license are assets.
