Brixton Spirits, the maker of Brixton Gin and Brixton Vodka, is merging with Brixton Distillery, the producer of the Market Row range of rums.
The announcement was made on Tuesday night at the trade launch for Brixton Rum and Brixton Aged Rum at 542 Brixton, the rather posh local events venue on Brixton Station Road.

Andrew Murray-Watson, founder of Brixton Spirits, told Buzz:
“Brixton Distillery and Brixton Spirits launched within weeks of each other in 2020.
The two companies have been friends since then, so putting the two businesses together makes complete sense.
It will also give us a wider portfolio of products as we continue to grow our sales locally, nationally and internationally.”
Current customers for the enlarged business include Fortnum & Mason as well as local favourites Morleys, the Laundry, 100 Barrington, Brixton House, Craft Metropolis, Dugard and Daughters, Wild + Lees, Guzzl and the Guzzl Canteen, the Bureau of Silly Ideas and many others.
Further afield, Brixton Gin and Vodka is available nationally through Inn Express, the wholesaler.
“We have just started to explore international markets,” said Mr Murray-Watson.
“The Brixton range is already available in Norway and we expect to send a pallet of products to Singapore very soon.
Brixton Rum and Brixton Aged Rum are made from a blend of finest quality Caribbean rums, which are then blended with local Brixton honey from the Good Bee Company, to give them a unique local flavour.
Murray-Watson said:
“All our products, including our rums, use locally sourced ingredients. We want the Brixton community to be proud of them.”
