General Strike Jan 30 National Shutdown & Protest: Here’s Why

In the United States students activists, community groups, labor unions and many business owners are on a Nationwide General Strike Jan 30. It is also a National shutdown when all the offices, schools and businesses will remain closed to protest against immigration enforcement policies, especially those carried out by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
