Gunna Joins 100-Hit Club With “Pop It” Chart Debut

Gunna reached 100 career Hot 100 entries with “Pop It.” The chart feat came less than two weeks into his new role as a label boss.

The song entered at No. 55 on the chart dated October 24, Billboard reported. The count spans his own songs and guest turns. He was the 25th act to reach that mark in the chart’s 68-year run.

“Pop It” drew 4.6 million U.S. streams and 4.7 million radio audience impressions during the October 9-15 tracking week. Billboard based the U.S. totals on figures from Luminate. Gunna joined J. Cole, Ariana Grande and Rod Wave as the fourth act to cross the 100-entry line this year.

His path started in June 2018 with a guest spot on Lil Baby’s “Life Goes On.” Lil Uzi Vert also appeared on the song. Later that year, “Drip Too Hard” with Lil Baby climbed to No. 4. He has since scored top-10 hits with “Lemonade,” “Pushin P” and “Fukumean.”

“Pop It” also marked a shift in Gunna’s work beyond the charts. Gunna released the song on October 9. That same day, he launched SB THE LABEL.

With Atlantic Music Group behind the venture, Gunna took the CEO seat. His first roster had three acts from Atlanta: Casper Bluff, Nechie and Dracc. Nechie had worked with Gunna before they joined forces under the new imprint. The roster put Gunna in a role that reached beyond his own songs.

The rollout brought both sides of that plan together. The “Pop It” video had the label’s new signees and tennis star Coco Gauff. In the Spike Jordan-directed clip, Gauff joined Gunna on the court for a first look at his new label.

The song gave fans a taste of “Splurge,” which he has teased as his next studio album. His last album, “The Last Wun,” came out in August 2025 with 25 tracks.

At the launch, he called the first three acts his brothers and spoke of room to grow in his new role.

“SB the Label represents the beginning of a new chapter for me,” he said in the launch statement.
