Harlem Globetrotters celebrate 100 years with Ontario show

A basketball spinning on a fingertip. Dazzling dribbling. Trick shots that end up falling through the hoop.

For 10 decades, this show has been entertaining fans across the world.

The Harlem Globetrotters brought their 100-year anniversary tour to the Inland Empire on Tuesday, Feb 24.

The 100 Year Tour stopped at the Toyota Arena in Ontario for the team’s familiar display of showmanship, skill and fun. It began in late December and will hit more than 200 sites in the U.S. and more than 125 in other countries, a news release states.

The Globetrotters continued their usual hijinks seen since the team’s beginnings in 1926.

They joked with fans, tossed water on the referee and brought kids onto the court.

And they again beat the Washington Generals.
