*Katt Williams showed up unexpectedly at Kevin Hart’s Netflix roast, and the surprise appearance turned into a rare onstage moment between the two comedians who have traded public shots for years.
“Me and this man have been at odds for years on years,” Hart told the audience, Complex reports. “You coming out here, quite the f*cking surprise. But, Katt, I can sit and I can watch you, I can laugh, because I’m a f*cking fan first, okay? I’m a fan first, he added.
“Katt, we have an opportunity in real time, this is live television, to put our f*cking beef behind us. I am offering you an olive branch of peace. I want to be a brother, I want to be a friend. Katt, I want to move on. Can we move on, man?”

Williams crossed the stage and embraced Hart as the crowd broke into applause. But Williams had no interest in going soft once he had the mic. He went after Hart’s association with Diddy’s events, telling the room, “Just because Kevin went to Diddy parties does not mean he did something wrong. The fact that he gets all quiet when you bring it up, that means he did something wrong.” He also noted he considered himself one of Hart’s “enemies” and claimed the roast invitation caught him completely off guard.
Hart then pulled the rug out from under the whole reconciliation. “Everybody has said tonight that I can’t act,” he said. “‘Kevin cannot act.’ What I want you to do is go back and look at that moment where I shook Katt’s hand, and I looked him in the eye, and I said, ‘I just want us to be friends.’ Some of the best f*cking acting that I’ve ever did in my career. I did not mean one word of what I said. F*ck Katt Williams! F*ck Katt Williams!”
