Kewon White has been found guilty of capital murder in the 2020 killing of Dallas rapper MO3. The rapper, whose real name was Melvin Noble, was shot and killed in an ambush on Interstate 35 in Dallas in November 2020. White was accused of chasing MO3 on foot along the highway before the rapper was fatally shot.

Prosecutors alleged that another Dallas rapper, Yella Beezy, whose real name is Markies Conway, hired White to carry out the killing following a long-running feud. Conway has pleaded not guilty to capital murder and has denied involvement in MO3’s death. Prosecutors have accused Conway of arranging the killing and paying White to carry it out.
White was already serving time on an unrelated federal gun charge before being convicted in the MO3 case. A third defendant, Devin Brown, has also been charged with capital murder in connection with the killing. Conway and Brown are expected to face separate trials in the case.
