Lesotho FA Announces International Developmental Tour for U20

The Liberia Football Association (LFA) formally announces an international developmental tour for a specialized Select Squad, composed of players from the FIFA Talent Development Scheme (TDS) and the National U20 team.

The delegation, drawn from the TDS and the National U20 programs, recently completed the necessary U.K. visa application process at the British High Commission in Sierra Leone. The delegation is scheduled to depart for the United Kingdom on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

This initial group comprises the players and staff who have successfully secured their travel documents. The remaining members of the delegation will join the tour in the UK upon approval and issuance of their visas.

While in the UK, the Select Squad will compete in several matches against various youth teams and academies. These fixtures are designed to provide exposure and technical growth for Liberian talents.

The LFA extends its heartfelt gratitude to the U.K. Embassy in Liberia for their continued support and professional guidance throughout this administrative process. The Association remains steadfast in its commitment to providing international exposure and pathways for emerging Liberian talents.

The LFA wishes to express its sincere regrets to the organizers of the Dallas Cup in the United States, as well as to the Liberian community in the U.S. who were eagerly anticipating the team’s arrival.

Due to the complexities of managing simultaneous visa applications for both the United States and the United Kingdom, the LFA was unable to finalize the U.S. visa process within the required timeline. We deeply value our relationship with the Dallas Cup organizers and we look forward to future opportunities.

Furthermore, the LFA is pleased to announce that coordinated planning is already underway for a Men’s Senior National Team Tour in the United States, scheduled for July 2026.
