Elijah Anatole’s short film Omyra has been named a finalist at the upcoming ÂME International Film Festival.
First selected for the festival, which takes place in Australia, on January 5, 2026, the film has now advanced to the final round, where it will be evaluated among a shortlisted group of films for award recognition.
“We’re grateful to each festival and jury for recognising Omyra at these progressive stages, and for the continued support as the film’s international run unfolds,” Anatole expressed through a release highlighting the development.
Omyra made its debut on the international film festival circuit during December’s Sundarban International Film Festival, where it won the Best Short Film award in its category.
Omyra also received an award nomination as part of the Best Short Film Block C category at the Chandler International Film Festival, currently underway in Arizona.
