*The Michael Jackson biopic “Michael” is preparing for a broad home entertainment rollout that begins with a digital release on June 9, before expanding into multiple physical formats later in the summer, SlashFilm reports.
The film will arrive on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on July 14, marking its full entry into the home viewing market. Alongside standard editions, the release strategy includes several retailer-specific versions, such as an Amazon-exclusive SteelBook, a Walmart-exclusive SteelBook, and a Collector’s Edition distributed through Lionsgate.
Rather than presenting the film in a single uniform package, the home release is structured around multiple editions and supplemental materials designed to appeal to collectors and casual viewers alike. These versions expand the product offering across different retail channels and formats.
A major component of the rollout is its extensive bonus content lineup, which focuses on both production design and performance transformation.
