MTC joins Huawei’s enterprise partner network

The Mobile Telecommunications Limited (MTC) has registered as a Huawei enterprise partner.

MTC says the move will strengthen its ability to provide technology solutions to businesses and institutions in Namibia.

The new status expands its partnership with Huawei and gives it access to the technology firm’s enterprise portfolio, including connectivity solutions, cloud technologies, digital infrastructure, intelligent networking systems and business transformation platforms.

MTC chief brand, marketing, communications and sustainability officer Tim Ekandjo said on Monday that the development will help the company respond to the changing needs of Namibian businesses.

“As a national asset entrusted to drive the national digital economy, we continue to position ourselves fit for the future and strategically strengthen our ability to support key sectors driving Namibia’s economic growth,” he said.

He said the new status increases MTC’s capacity to design, deploy and develop enterprise technology solutions.

MTC said the partnership combines its knowledge of the local market with Huawei’s technology expertise and supports the country’s digital transformation efforts.
