The Roads Authority (RA) plans to open all Natis centres countrywide over weekends to improve accessibility for clients.
RA spokesperson Hileni Fillemon told The Namibian on Friday that the authority is working towards expanding weekend operations.
The company in a statement on Friday said there will be extended operating hours at Natis Valley Centre in Windhoek for two weekends in May.
“The Roads Authority (RA) is pleased to announce that operations at our Natis Valley Centre in Windhoek will be extended to include the weekends of 16 and 17 May and 23 to 24 May, from 08h00 to 14h00,” she said.
According to Fillemon, the initiative will improve accessibility and convenience for clients.
“All services will be offered during the above-mentioned periods, and clients may also make bookings during the weekend operations,” she said.
The move comes amid growing demand for Natis services, particularly in Windhoek, where long queues and booking delays have become a frequent complaint among motorists.
