Pakistan Women Announce Squad for Zimbabwe T20I Series in Karachi
The Women’s National Selection Committee has announced a 15-member Pakistan squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe Women, scheduled to be played at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi from 12 to 15 May.
Pakistan, currently leading the ongoing ODI series 2-0 against Zimbabwe, will look to continue their winning momentum in the T20I format. The third and final ODI of the series is set to take place later today in Karachi.
Fatima Sana will continue to captain the national side in the T20I series, with all three matches scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM local time.
The squad features two uncapped players — Amber Kainat and Saira Jabeen. Amber impressed selectors during the recently concluded National Women’s T20 Tournament, claiming 11 wickets in eight matches for Invincibles. Saira, meanwhile, was previously included in Pakistan’s T20I squad during the South Africa tour.
