Police and relatives are continuing efforts to locate a missing 34-year-old woman, as her family appeals to the public for assistance and urges caution against the spread of misinformation.
According to a police bulletin, Cassie John, of La Toc, Castries, was last seen on January 3 and has not been located since.
Family members have asked the public to refrain from sharing false or unverified information about her disappearance, noting that misleading reports could complicate efforts to find her.
In an emotional appeal shared on social media on January 11, a relative pleaded for community support.
“We are asking, begging, and pleading with the public to come out in large numbers in every community to help us locate Cassie John,” the relative said. “Our hearts are broken, and our fear grows with every passing moment. Cassie is pregnant, vulnerable and deeply loved, and all we want is to know that she is safe and able to come home.”
Police are urging anyone with credible information about John’s whereabouts to contact the nearest police station immediately.
Cassie John is described as dark in complexion, pregnant, and having short hair. Authorities say even seemingly small details could prove critical as the search continues.
