The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force confirmed that two men were killed in separate incidents on Sunday, April 19, 2026. Investigations into both cases are ongoing.
Police said that around 9:00 p.m., Soufrière officers responded to a shooting at Baron’s Drive. Three men were shot. One of them, 40-year-old Karson Simon of Palmiste, Soufrière, died from his injuries. The other two victims, aged 16 and 23, remain in the hospital with gunshot wounds.
Earlier, at about 11:15 a.m., Major Crimes Unit officers responded to a report of a body found on the bypass road in Cul de Sac, south Castries. The victim, 22-year-old Tarrick Isidore of Dennery, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Major Crimes Unit is leading the investigation.
Later that evening, around 9:00 p.m., Soufrière police responded to a shooting at Baron’s Drive. Three men were shot. One, 40-year-old Karson Simon of Palmiste, Soufrière, died from his injuries. The other two, aged 16 and 23, are still in the hospital with gunshot wounds.
