Prime Minister John Briceño attended a meeting of the Board of Directors of COCESNA (the Central American Air Navigation Services Corporation) in Madrid, Spain, earlier this week.
The Board was in Madrid at the invitation of Indra Sistemas SA, one of the world’s primary suppliers of primary and secondary aeronautical radars. They also held discussions with other suppliers of civil aviation equipment, as well as the consultants working on the integration of aeronautical systems for the member countries of COCESNA.
Board members took the opportunity to visit several plants to observe new aeronautical technology first-hand.
Prime Minister Briceño was accompanied by Narda Garcia, Chief Executive Officer in the Office of the Prime Minister, Ministry of Investment and Civil Aviation. Both serve on the Board of COCESNA on behalf of Belize.
