The track serves as the third official single tied to the upcoming season, which is set to debut June 7 on AMC and AMC+. Watch the clip above.
Released by AMC Global Media and Lakeshore Records, the single is now available across major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. It follows earlier releases “All Fall Down” and “Long Face,” both featuring original music and lyrics by composer Daniel Hart and performed by Reid.
In “The Vampire Lestat,” the character evolves into what is described as the world’s first immortal rock star, launching a high-energy, multi-city tour. As his fame grows, Lestat is increasingly haunted by “muses” connected to his rebellious past, shaping both his performances and personal journey.
The story unfolds during the Great Conversion, an unnatural surge in the vampire population that raises the stakes for both humans and vampires. As Lestat’s influence expands, others are forced to confront the consequences of his growing power and presence.
The series continues the narrative from “Interview with the Vampire,” effectively serving as its third season while adopting the title of Anne Rice’s novel. Alongside Reid, the cast includes Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman, Eric Bogosian, Delainey Hayles, and Jennifer Ehle.
Behind the scenes, the project is executive produced by Mark Johnson, alongside creator and showrunner Rolin Jones, Hannah Moscovitch, Christopher Rice, and the late Anne Rice. Additional music releases tied to Lestat’s rock persona are expected ahead of the premiere.
