SURREY Police Service is appealing for witnesses to a collision on March 5 in the area of 88 Avenue and Nordel Way in Surrey which resulted in serious injury to a pedestrian.
On March 5 at 11:24 p.m., a vehicle struck two pedestrians at the intersection of 88 Avenue and Nordel Way in Surrey. One of the pedestrians, an adult male, was transported to a local area hospital in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
The adult male driver of the vehicle fled the scene of the collision and abandoned the vehicle a short distance away from the collision.
After further investigation, it is believed that members of the public witnessed the incident and assisted the victims after the collision. These witnesses left the scene prior to police arrival. Investigators are appealing to these witnesses or anyone else with information to come forward.
