Pretoria, South Africa (27 May 2026) – Big hits, close finishes and plenty of proud celebration moments! That was the vibe as the inaugural Daisy Cup 2026 officially came to an end after weeks of exciting cricket action across Tshwane.

Hosted by Titans Cricket, the tournament brought together 49 teams from Tshwane and beyond, creating a fun and competitive platform for young cricketers across the U9, U11, U13, U15, U16 and Open Men’s divisions.

A huge crowd pleaser came in the U9 final, where Future Cricket Academy narrowly defeated L/S Lynnwood U9 by just one run in a dramatic finish that had spectators holding their breath until the very end.

Future Cricket Academy also lifted the U11 title after overcoming Lynnwood White U11, while Future Klofies dominated the U13 final with a commanding 10-wicket win over L/S Lynnwood White U13. Sunday’s action continued the excitement as Strike Force U15 produced a strong all-round display to beat Sunrisers Yellow U15 by 83 runs.

Future Klofies added another trophy to their weekend haul after comfortably defeating Centurion Kavaliers U16 by 93 runs in the U16 final. More than just a tournament, the Daisy Cup was created to strengthen the cricket pipeline, grow participation and give young players meaningful opportunities to compete and develop their skills.

Titans Cricket also thanked clubs, schools, academies, parents, volunteers and facility partners for helping make the tournament a success, adding that the strong support showed just how much community cricket continues to grow.
