Uganda qualified to the final of the 2026 CAF schools football championship after overcoming Benin 4-3 in post match penalties during the semi-finals played at the Ngoni stadium in Harare city, Zimbabwe.
Normal time of this match had ended goal-less under sunny conditions.
Uganda, represented by St Mary’s Boarding School Kitende will play in the final on Friday.
Right from the group stages, Uganda has been a team on the mission possible, scoring 10 goals and conceding once.
Uganda’s biggest score was the 6-0 victory over Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) .
There was also the 3-0 victory over Morocco and the 1-all draw with hosts Zimbabwe in the official opening match of the tournament.
