POLICE in Harare have arrested a 38-year-old man who allegedly posed as a nurse at Sally Mugabe Hospital.
ZRP national spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the arrest occurred on September 11, 2026.
According to police, Godwin Sanyika was apprehended at the hospital after he was found wearing a State Registered General Nurse blue uniform.
“The suspect allegedly masqueraded as a nurse while wearing a state Registered General Nurse blue uniform,” Commissioner Nyathi said.
The arrest led to the recovery of various items from the suspect, including assorted medications, gauze swabs, needles and syringes.
Sanyika has since been charged with impersonation.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
