The CastleBet Cup 2026 will be held in Rehoboth on 4 July.
The gate draw for the different horse racing teams took place on Thursday with Tobias Naule representing the sponsors CastleBet Namibia and Chantelle Mouton the Namibia Horse Racing Association (NHRA).
Castlebet Namibia representative Tobias Naule, helped to pick out the different teams slots along side Chantelle Mouton PRO of Namibia Horse Racing Association (NHRA).
“CastleBet Namibia is sponsoring the race to an amount of N$300 000 making it the richest horseracing event in Namibia,” NHRA said in a statement.
Naule said they are committed to supporting grassroots development.
“We at Castlebet Namibia would like to emphasise the importance of supporting grassroots sport in Namibia – we remain committed to supporting local sports and giving back to community development. Sport fans should come to this historic event proudly sponsored by Castlebet Namibia.”
Mouton also called on the public for its support.
“We would like to thank CastleBet Namibia for sponsoring our event and supporting the growth of horse racing in the country. We would further like to encourage people all over Namibia to come out in numbers and support this event.”
