Charlestown, Nevis – Students and teachers of the Elizabeth Pemberton Primary School proudly took part in this year’s Child Month Parade, embracing the event’s message of healthy living with enthusiasm, creativity, and school spirit.
Under the theme, “Fueling Our Bodies with The Best: Good Nutrition, Movement and Rest,” the school’s Kindergarten and Grade One classes showcased the importance of adopting healthy lifestyles from an early age.

Dressed in colourful attire, sporting hats and sunglasses, and wearing bright smiles, the young participants marched proudly as they highlighted the benefits of proper nutrition, regular physical activity, and adequate rest in building strong bodies and healthy minds.
The Kindergarten and Grade One teachers played an integral role in preparing the students for the event, bringing energy and excitement to every stage of the preparations.
The school emphasised that promoting healthy habits among children is essential to their overall development and wellbeing, helping to instil positive behaviours that can last a lifetime.
“We were excited and enthusiastic as we prepared our little cubs for this year’s Child Month Parade,” the school noted. “Through proper nutrition, regular physical activity, and adequate rest, we can help our children develop strong bodies, healthy minds, and positive lifelong habits.”
The administration also expressed heartfelt gratitude to the teachers, security officers, parents, and supporters whose dedication and assistance helped make the experience both meaningful and memorable for the students.
Elizabeth Pemberton Primary extended special congratulations to its young participants for representing the school with confidence, enthusiasm, and pride.
The Child Month Parade remains one of the highlights of the annual observance, providing schools across the Federation with an opportunity to celebrate children while promoting themes that support their health, well-being, and holistic development.
The Elizabeth Pemberton Primary School said it remains committed to nurturing students who are healthy, confident, and prepared to become productive members of society.
