Noteworthy: Pickens, a 5-foot-7 point guard, banked in a 3-pointer with 0.9 seconds remaining on the clock to lift the Rams to a 60-57 victory over Placentia Valencia. Ramona has reached the CIF Southern Section finals for the second consecutive season. The Rams will play Laguna Hills for the Division 6 championship Saturday at 8 p.m. at Azusa Pacific University. Pickens tallied 19 points and eight assists in the win over Valencia. He had 20 points and four steals in a 66-52 semifinal victory over Montclair.
