Pemba (MOZTIMES) – While one group of insurgents continues to move southwards across Cabo Delgado, attacking villages, killing civilians and burning homes and Christian churches, other groups operating further north have increasingly targeted fishermen and seized boats at sea and on islands, demanding money for the victims’ release.
This Sunday, a group of fishermen arriving in the district of Mocímboa da Praia reported that, on Saturday night (9), several fishermen were captured by insurgents, who demanded payments in exchange for their freedom.
