THE EXPERIENCE
Set in the heart of Pretoria at 012 Central, Outside Already is positioned as a national gathering of culture, youth and influence, expected to attract a curated audience of creators, entrepreneurs, cultural leaders and industry stakeholders from across the country.
Attendees can expect:
The event takes place on the eve of National Women’s Day (9 August) and is intended to create a two‑day cultural moment of celebration, visibility and creative expression. The broader programme will include a women‑led leadership conversation and a spotlight stage for emerging women artists, ensuring the event is both celebratory and action‑oriented.
The event is being developed in ongoing engagement with the City of Tshwane, with additional support from the Tshwane Metropolitan Police Department, reinforcing its positioning as a safe, structured and city‑aligned large‑scale gathering.
BUILT ON CULTURAL MOMENTUM
Outside Already began as a curated cultural experiment and officially launched with an exclusive private dinner at Marble Restaurant, which set the tone for the platform’s direction. The evening brought together influential voices across culture, business and leadership, including Lichi Pan, Sinqobile Tusani, Ndaba Mandela, Olwethu Leshabane, Kelebogile Mabunda, Count Lupa, Malume Jade, Muriel Mamoepa, and Froo Saana, alongside other changemakers shaping South Africa’s cultural landscape.
“We are building a platform that is as commercially viable as it is culturally significant, connecting influence, opportunity and community at a national level,” the Co‑Founders say.
On the eve of Women’s Day, in the capital city, a nation comes together not just to celebrate, but to be seen.
Culture is already moving. Outside Already is where South Africa meets.
