In the latest episode of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” Salma Slims and 24hrs continue to have tension as a new manager comes on board. Here are the highlights for “He Wasn’t Manager Enough For Me.”
Salma Slims meets a potential manager.
Zell and his acquaintance Smoove visit Salma while she’s in the studio. Smoove is a manager who has reportedly worked with past artists like Mary J. Blige and Keyshia Cole. Since Salma wants a new manager, Zell figured it would be a good idea to introduce her to Smoove.
Salma tells Smoove that 24hrs has been managing her thus far, but she needs a new team because he’s too busy to focus on pushing her career.
Smoove tells Salma that he is only here to help her career and not complicate things further. So Salma invites Smoove and Zell to her upcoming mixer for artists.
Yung Joc îs side-eying Lil Zane.
Lil Zane talks to Joc about his brother’s illness. His younger brother needs a kidney transplant, and Zane is too afraid to be tested to see if he’s a match. He has a strong fear of doctors, so he refuses to be tested.
When Joc asks Zane if he would want his brother to give him a kidney if he were sick, Zane says he hopes his brother would help him even though he won’t do the same.
In a confessional, Joc says he would look at Zane differently if he were his brother.
24hrs and Salma continue to have tension.
Salma catches up with Erica Banks and Queen Key. They plan to attend Salma’s upcoming industry mixer. When 24hrs is brought up, Salma says she wants a new manager because he has not been doing enough.
In a green screen interview, Erica says she wonders if 24hrs is controlling because Salma has been unfaithful.
When 24hrs joins the ladies, it becomes really awkward. He tells Salma he needs to meet Smoove to make sure he is the right fit to manage her. Salma pushes back at this, and he asks her if she’s been drinking.
Renni Rucci confirms she is pregnant to Karlie Redd and Spice. While she’s happy to be expecting, she knows it will be stressful since her partner, Blac Zacc, is in prison and facing the death penalty.
Linette thinks Ashley is behind Zane’s decision not to help his brother.
Lil Zane tells his mother, Linette, that he didn’t get tested to see if his kidney is a match for his younger brother’s transplant. After he says he’s afraid of doctors too much to move forward, Linette asks him if he asked Ashley what she thought. Zane says Ashley is afraid of losing him. In response, Linette says Ashley shouldn’t have had any input in Zane’s decision because she’s not going to be around permanently, like Zane’s siblings.
In a confessional, Zane says he shouldn’t have told Linette he spoke to Ashley. His decision was one he made on his own.
Regardless, Linette agrees to attend Scrappy’s upcoming camping trip. Zane wants her to make peace with Ashley there.
Smoove meets 24hrs.
24hrs meets Smoove at Salma’s mixer. He tells Smoove he’s been waiting for someone to come in the picture with the right skill set to help Salma. In response, Salma challenges this. Smoove notices the tension between the couple and says he won’t get on board until they hash things out because he doesn’t want to make things worse.
24hrs assures Smmove that it will be fine.
Sierra shows up at the mixer to hash things out with Salma. She apologizes for their past tense exchange.
Salma is able to get Sierra and 24hrs to apologize to each other as well. However, Sierra continues to shade 24hrs and his “manhood” in her green screen interview.
