Mauritania has strongly condemned the drone attack that targeted electrical facilities in the brotherly state of the United Arab Emirates.
This was stated in a statement released on May 17 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, in which it reaffirmed Mauritania’s full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates, government and people, against anything that could undermine its security or endanger the integrity of its territory and vital facilities.
The statement reads as follows:
“The Islamic Republic of Mauritania condemns in the strongest terms the drone attack that targeted electrical facilities in the brotherly State of the United Arab Emirates and considers it a serious aggression and a direct threat to its security, stability, and sovereignty.
Mauritania affirms its full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates, its government and people, in the face of anything that could undermine its security or endanger the integrity of its territory and vital facilities.”
