A 28-year-old motorcyclist died after a collision with a motor vehicle along the La Caye Highway on Sunday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Lenus Alphonse of Belair, Castries.
Police said officers from the Richfond Police Station received a report of a vehicular accident at about 11:45 a.m. and responded to the scene.
They found an injured Alphonse who was transported to the Dennery Hospital for treatment. He later succumbed to his injuries.
On the heels of the fatal accident, the Department of Road Safety and Traffic Investigations of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force reminded motorists to exercise caution on the roads and to comply with all traffic laws.
