By Breaking Belize News Staff: Police have issued a Notice of Intended Prosecution as investigators continue looking into a fatal road traffic accident that claimed the life of Jorge Zetina of San Antonio, Cayo District.
The fatal crash occurred on Sunday, September 6, near Mile 6½ on the Pine Ridge Road.
ASP Stacy Smith said responding officers found Zetina gravely injured and unresponsive. An extensively damaged Lifan motorcycle was found about 22 feet away, while a Ford Escape SUV with damage to its front portion was also at the scene.
Preliminary investigations suggest Zetina was travelling on the motorcycle when it collided with the Ford Escape travelling in the opposite direction.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.
