IT seems that Prime Minister Mark Carney will be travelling to Tumbler Ridge in B.C. following the horrendous shootings on Tuesday.
A media advisory from the Prime Minister’s Office on Tuesday night says that in light of the tragic events in Tumbler Ridge, Carney’s previously announced schedule has been suspended. He was to attend the National Caucus meeting in Ottawa on Wednesday.
Earlier, Carney said in a statement: “I am devastated by today’s horrific shootings in Tumbler Ridge, B.C. My prayers and deepest condolences are with the families and friends who have lost loved ones to these horrific acts of violence.”
