Pro Choice campaigners will be demonstrating outside Lambeth Town Hall at noon this Sunday, 1st March 2026.
In a leaflet seen by Brixton Buzz, they say

[Anti abortion campaigners on Brixton Water Lane, Sept 2025]
Anti-choice campaigners started their annual period of vigils and protests at the beginning of lent. Led by the international religious anti-abortion group 40 Days for Life, they campaign outside reproductive health clinics and attempt to prevent women from having terminations, including at the local Brixton reproductive clinic.
We need to show up and send the message that shame and intimidation are not welcome in our community.
Anti-choice, anti-abortion, and anti-feminist tracts are funnels through which the far right are mobilising. Reform UK and Nigel Farage are in support of these kind of campaigns.
Farage has said that he wants to reduce term limits and he has just appointed James Orr as head of policy, a radical evangelical fundamentalist who opposes abortion at any stage and for any reason including rape and medical complications.
Matt Goodwin, who is now running in the Gorton & Denton by-election has said that he will impose a tax on women for not having children
