Trina’s “Motherhood & Mimosas: She Is Everything” Celebrates Women, Legacy, and Power in Miami

Rapper, author, and entrepreneur Trina once again proved why she remains a pillar in both culture and community with the success of her 2nd Annual Motherhood & Mimosas: She Is Everything celebration. Held on Saturday, May 2nd at the elegant Glass Box in Miami, the highly anticipated Mother’s Day brunch brought together influential women, tastemakers, and community leaders for an unforgettable afternoon of honor, empowerment, and appreciation.
From the moment guests arrived between 3 PM – 7 PM, the atmosphere was vibrant, beautifully curated, and full of life. The décor reflected a soft, feminine, yet powerful aesthetic—florals, bright tones, and luxe touches that created the perfect setting to celebrate motherhood and womanhood at its highest level. The music was seamlessly curated by DJ Mo, who kept the energy vibrant and the atmosphere alive.

A Purpose-Driven Celebration

Hosted by award-winning journalist and media personality Carisha J, the event flowed seamlessly with intention and elegance. Guests were treated to a buffet-style gourmet brunch, bottomless mimosas, and curated cocktails, creating a warm and celebratory environment for networking, connection, and reflection. The drinks were sponsored by Curated Cocktails and Bumbu Rum Company.

Beyond the aesthetics and experience, the heart of the event was rooted in purpose. Trina, through her Diamond Doll Foundation, continues to use her platform to give back to the community—uplifting women who are making real impact across industries. A standout moment included a $2,000 gift presented to a deserving mother, reinforcing the foundation’s commitment to support and empowerment. Luminos Luxe Spa, who also attended the event, awarded the recipient a complimentary spa package as well as one of the honorees of the event.
A standout moment of the event came when Trina took the stage to reflect on her relationship with her mother and the strength it takes to keep pushing forward after such a profound loss. The room grew emotional as she shared her heartfelt testimony, supported by the powerful presence of Kelly Price.

Recording artist and Grammy nominated singer Kelly Price performed a medley of her hits for the mothers who attended with every guest on their feet. Her voice gets even better with time, and she gave a beautiful performance.
