US, Belize and Taiwan launch Cybersecurity conference focused on AI threats

By Zoila Palma:  Today, U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Katharine Beamer joined leading cybersecurity experts at the opening of a conference focused on “Cybersecurity in the Age of AI,” aimed at strengthening Belize’s digital defenses.

The conference is a joint initiative involving the United States, Belize and Taiwan to help develop solutions that will improve Belize’s cybersecurity capacity.

“The United States stands with Belize, knowing that trusted partnerships will lead to the resilient cyber defenses needed to prevent, detect, and respond to today’s emerging threats,” the U.S. Embassy noted.
