*A well-known name in Southern baking is bringing its signature comfort food into a new category. White Lily is expanding beyond traditional baking ingredients with the launch of frozen ready-to-bake biscuits designed to deliver homemade-style results in less time and with less effort.

The new products move the brand into the freezer aisle, offering biscuits that bake in under 30 minutes while still aiming to preserve the light, flaky texture that has defined White Lily for generations of Southern home bakers.

According to the news release, the rollout will begin this spring across select retailers in the Southeastern United States, a region where the brand has long maintained a strong presence and loyal customer base.

The frozen lineup will feature two varieties. The first is Southern Buttermilk Biscuits, which focus on a tangy flavor profile paired with a soft, fluffy interior. The second is Classic Butter Biscuits, designed with a richer taste and layered texture intended to bake into a tender, golden result.

Both options are made using White Lily’s signature 100% soft winter wheat flour, a key ingredient tied to the brand’s long-standing reputation for producing lighter baked goods. Once baked, the biscuits are intended to be versatile enough for breakfast sandwiches, traditional comfort dishes like biscuits and gravy, or as a simple side for dinner.

Dan Anglemyer, COO of Hometown Food Company, highlighted the brand’s legacy in a statement, saying, “White Lily has been at the heart of Southern baking for generations,” and added that “These frozen biscuits deliver the same light, fluffy texture our fans love, now in a convenient heat-and-serve format.”

Each package includes 12 biscuits and is designed for straightforward preparation, going directly from freezer to oven without mixing or additional prep work.

The launch reflects a broader trend of combining convenience with traditional cooking methods, offering consumers an easier way to recreate scratch-style baked goods at home while maintaining familiar regional flavors and baking heritage.
