Angela Yee Announces Her Engagement While Entering A New Chapter In Life

Angela Yee and her boo, Tameek Floyd, have taken a major step in their relationship announcing their engagement.

During Yee’s seventh annual “Angela Yee Day” in Brooklyn, Floyd surprised his longtime love with a ring. Surrounded by friends and family, Angela said yes. Following the proposal, Floyd shared a heartfelt message online to his fiancée.

“Locked in with my best friend @angelayee. As individuals we’re great, together we’re unstoppable…Love you!!!”

The special moment marks another major milestone for the radio personality, who has kept her relationship private over the years.

During a 2019 interview with Essence, Yee opened up about what she loves about her partner, describing him as supportive and low-key ride-or-die.

“What’s great about my boyfriend is that he’s really supportive of everything I do and he’s so low key. Which I really like because I’m the same way.”

The engagement comes during a period of new beginnings for Yee. She spent 12 years as part of The Breakfast Club before stepping away from the show in 2022. A year later, she launched her nationally syndicated midday show, Way Up With Angela Yee.

Since then, Yee continued to build her own lane, having major guests including Cardi B, T.I., Master P, Ray J and many more.

Now, Yee has another reason to celebrate as she enter a new chapter both personally and professionally.
