As some of the country’s best track athletes fight for medals at the ongoing Debswana World Athletics Relays Gaborone 2026, others are fighting for their careers in the courts of law.
This past Wednesday, for instance, Refilwe Murangi, Lydia Jele, Karabo Mothibi and Zibane Ngozi’s case was once again heard by the high court. The quartet alleges the fabrication, manipulation and fraud in their results which returned positive for banned substances.
