The Minister of Energy and Petroleum, Mr. Mohamed Ould Khaled, participated on Saturday in Bamako in the proceedings of the 64th extraordinary session of the Council of Ministers of the Senegal River Basin Development Organization (OMVS).
The session discussed a number of strategic issues related to enhancing the Organization’s performance, developing its joint projects, and maintaining electricity production and transmission infrastructure, in addition to ways of developing river navigation on the Senegal River.
These meetings are part of the ongoing efforts by member countries to strengthen regional integration, consolidate the foundations of sustainable development, and guarantee the capacity and continuity of shared infrastructure in order to serve the interests of the peoples of the organization’s member states.
