On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, Galen University faculty and staff visited Galen University students and volunteers participating in an archaeological field experience in collaboration with the archaeological community.
The visit highlighted the important work being undertaken as participants learn archaeological field methods and contribute to the production of knowledge that helps uncover and preserve Belize’s rich history.
Galen University says that through hands-on research and community collaboration, students are gaining valuable practical experience while supporting efforts to better understand Belize’s cultural heritage.
